Marketing agency leases 36,000 s/f at RFR's Stamford Plaza

RFR Realty LLC, owner and manager of a sevenbuilding, 1.8-million-square-foot Class-A Stamford office portfolio, today announced that Digitas leased 36,000 square feet at Four Stamford Plaza in Stamford. [Choyce Peterson coverage highlighted in yellow in the Read More section.]

Digitas, a leading global digital marketing agency, will relocate from Norwalk and will occupy the entire ninth and a portion of the 10th floor of Four Stamford Plaza located at 107 Elm Street. The company signed a 15-year lease and will move to the building in January 2009.

“Stamford is a dynamic city and a major business hub that also offers us access to a broader pool of agency talent.”

“We’re delighted that Digitas has joined the prestigious roster of tenants at Stamford Plaza,” said Margaret Carlson, portfolio director for RFR Realty, owner of the 260,581 square-foot office property, that is part of the four building office complex know as Stamford Plaza.

“The building’s central business district location combined with a great amenity package and new property renovations, offered Digitas the best match of available options in the market.”

Digitas was represented by Joseph Thanhauser of Byrnam Wood LLC and John Hannigan of Choyce Peterson. The property owner was represented internally by Ms. Carlson and Joseph Artusa, portfolio director.

RFR Realty’s seven-building Class-A portfolio in Stamford consists of consists of One, Two, Three, and Four Stamford Plaza, 177 Broad Street, 300 Atlantic Street, and Canterbury Green.

RFR Realty is the largest office landlord in the Stamford CBD market

In addition to its Stamford portfolio, the firm owns and manages approximately nine million square feet of prime office and retail space in Manhattan, including the premier properties 375 Park Avenue and 390 Park Avenue (Lever House) and it controls additional properties in Miami’s South Beach and Las Vegas, as well 2,500 luxury residential units in Manhattan.
