This 7,651-square-foot lease with Robert H. Schaffer & Associates, LLC (RHS&A) brings the building’s occupancy level to 97 percent. RHS&A, a 50-year-old management consulting firm will move in the beginning of August from its current location at 30 Oak Street in Stamford. The Ashforth Company acquired 707, a 74,000-square-foot office building, in December 2001 and, after completing extensive improvements to the building totaling $2.5 million, moved its headquarters to 707 from its other owned property in Stamford, Stamford Square, located at 3001/3003 Summer Street. Renovations included a new lobby, elevators, common areas, restrooms, landscaping, electrostatic air-filtration system, a state-of-the-art security system and electronic surveillance system. Ashforth’s construction division – A.P. Construction Company and its management services division – Albert B. Ashforth, Inc. are also located at 707 Summer Street. Other significant tenants at 707 include Sandak, Hennessey & Greco and Ryan, Ryan DeLuca LLP. George Walker, senior vice president of Jones Lang LaSalle represented the landlord. John Hannigan, co-founder & principle from Choyce Peterson represented the tenant. “RHS&A saw the value in strong onsite ownership and management and the importance of a well capitalized landlord, which tenants need to consider in this economic environment,” said Walker. Monique Delerme of Corporate Design, LLC is the architect for RHS&A’s new space at 707. A.P. Construction Company will complete the renovation. Ashforth’s 707 building has received a Building Owners & Managers Association (BOMA) Building of the Year award and BOMA Earth Award. In Fairfield Connecticut, Ashforth developed, owns and manages Stamford Square a 278,000-square-foot building and Greenwich Plaza, a 315,000-square-foot office complex located at the Greenwich Train Station in Greenwich, CT. |
