Choyce Peterson Negotiates 10,897 Square Foot Lease for ExecuNet Stamford, CT, Mar. 30, '10 ― Choyce Peterson, Inc. (www.choycepeterson.com), a commercial real estate brokerage and consulting firm, today announced the successful completion of lease negotiations for its client, ExecuNet (www.execunet.com), a private membership network for business leaders. The new lease added 1,500 square feet of contiguous expansion space to their existing 9,400 square-foot office in a long-term renewal at 295 Westport Avenue in Norwalk, Connecticut. A medium-sized, constantly growing organization, ExecuNet needed to expand its headquarters while maintaining a convenient location for its workers. They returned to Choyce Peterson, who negotiated their lease renewal six years ago, to work with them again. Choyce Peterson determined ExecuNet's wish list, toured alternative sites and analyzed their current location with regards to existing problems, rent and operating expense history, and contiguous expansion space.  John Hannigan, Principal of Choyce Peterson, said, "After generating competitive proposals from several landlords, we were pleased to achieve a renewal with reduced rent, future expansion, an upgraded air conditioning system and common areas, and streamlined operating expense escalations." Margaret Pisani, Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of ExecuNet, added, "When I think of Choyce Peterson, the one word that comes to mind is 'partner.' From the start, John and Alan worked alongside our real estate committee. Their access to quality resources and commitment to ExecuNet guided us to further expand our team in the hiring of an architect, construction firm, real estate attorney and HVAC engineer, all of whom actively participated in the process to ensure superior results." Ms. Pisani went on to describe her company's philosophy and how similar it is to Choyce Peterson, including dedication to an ethic of hard work and the development of a reputation as an expert in their respective fields. ExecuNet was founded in 1988. Alan Peterson, Principal of Choyce Peterson, concluded, "We enjoyed working with ExecuNet six years ago and welcomed an opportunity to again be their real estate resource. It's a privilege working with this growing company, and we were glad to see the landlord, M.F.DiScala & Company, step up and address ExecuNet's concerns in a manner that demonstrated the high value they placed on retaining ExecuNet, as well as respect for the diligence and open-mindedness that the ExecuNet folks brought to the table." |
