Prior to joining Choyce Peterson, for 6 years Adam worked across Global Banking and Strategy platforms with HSBC Bank in New York, Boston and London. At HSBC, he managed client relationships, advised on capital structure and executed cross-sales and underwriting duties for a $3.0B, cross-sector portfolio of Corporate Clients.
Additionally, Cognetta held positions within HSBC’s Management Office in the Americas. He served in project management roles and was responsible for the coordination/oversight of key senior executive engagement events, client planning processes/analytics and strategic business development initiatives.
A lifelong resident of Stamford with an extensive financial background, Adam’s strong technical skillset and passion for the region are a perfect fit with Choyce Peterson’s proven tenant representation process.
Adam values his strong local family ties, an active lifestyle and contribution to various philanthropic efforts including Junior Achievement and The Doe Fund. Though he hung up his baseball cleats and hockey skates after college, on weekends, Adam can usually be found behind a drum set performing with his band SummerLost or under the hood of his car.
Cognetta is a Graduate of Villanova University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and finds pride in his lifelong affiliation with Sigma Chi.
