The firm is taking more than 12,000 square feet of space at the MerrittView office building at 383 Main Ave., owned by Empire State Realty Trust.

The new office will accommodate up to 70 of OperationsInc's 90 employees at any point, according to CEO David Lewis, with the company to run onsite training as well as interactive webinars on varying topics when it moves in January 2020.

"Our new suite ... will be laid out to support our company culture, providing a fun and flexible workplace," Lewis wrote in an email.

OperationsInc, which had been located at 535 Connecticut Ave., has signed a lease for seven and a half years at the space, Lewis said.

Over the past month, Reed Exhibitions has relocated its Norwalk corporate office from MerrittView to 201 Merritt 7 a half mile up Main Avenue. OperationsInc got attractive lease terms on a portion of that space according to John Hannigan, a commercial real estate broker with Choyce Peterson which OperationsInc hired to lead its search for new offices, and which has its own office at MerrittView.
OperationsInc considered staying put in its existing building, according to Hannigan, with the firm also considering locations in Stamford, Darien, Westport and Wilton.
